The International Conference on Advances in Civil and Mechanical Engineering for the 22nd Century (ACME–2026) aims to bring together global researchers, academicians, industry experts, and policymakers to discuss transformative ideas and innovations shaping the future of civil and mechanical engineering. The conference seeks to foster interdisciplinary collaboration toward developing sustainable, resilient, and intelligent infrastructure systems that address the challenges of climate change, rapid urbanization, and digital transformation.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

The scope of the conference spans a wide spectrum of themes and emerging technologies that redefine engineering practice for the next century, including but not limited to:

• Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure: Green building materials, circular economy in construction, and climate-resilient urban systems.

• Digitalization and Smart Technologies:  Artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, digital twins, robotics, and immersive visualization in engineering applications.

• Energy, Environment, and Future Mobility:  Renewable energy integration, carbon-neutral design, and sustainable transportation technologies.

• Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology: Self-healing materials, high-performance alloys, additive manufacturing, and bio-inspired materials for extreme environments.

• Structural and Mechanical System Innovations: Adaptive and earthquake-resistant systems, optimization, control, and mechatronics in engineering design.

• Water, Climate, and Environmental Engineering: Water resource management, coastal resilience, pollution control, and environmental sustainability.

• Interdisciplinary Engineering for the 22nd Century: Space construction, engineering education, ethics, policy, and integration of computational and physical sciences.

The conference welcomes contributions from researchers, practitioners, and students addressing the intersection of civil, mechanical, environmental, and computational engineering, with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and resilience for future-ready infrastructure and mobility systems.
