Contacts: cibb2026@uniroma1.it
Acceptance/rejection notification: June 15, 2026
Camera-ready short paper submission deadline: July 7, 2026
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
CIBB is an international, multidisciplinary conference dedicated to the application of computational intelligence and artificial intelligence techniques to complex problems in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and medical informatics. The conference fosters interaction between computer science and life sciences, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and contributions that address emerging trends and future directions in data-driven biomedical research, systems and synthetic biology, omics sciences, and complex biomedical data analysis.
PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION
- Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit a short paper (4-6 pages) presenting their original research. Paper submissions will be handled through EasyChair platform. Detailed submission instructions, templates, and formatting guidelines are available on the official CIBB 2026 website. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process, so authors should ensure that their manuscripts do not include any information that could reveal their identities. For information on the specific topics of interest, please refer to the dedicated topics page on the official CIBB website
- Main Tracks and Special Sessions
CIBB2026 is organized around three main tracks: Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, and Medical Informatics. In addition, the conference will feature Special Sessions dedicated to emerging and specialized topics, providing a platform for focused discussions and novel research directions. The complete list of Special Sessions is available on a dedicated page on the official CIBB website.
- Publication Opportunities
Submitted contributions will undergo peer review. All accepted papers presented at the conference will be invited for submission of extended versions either to the Springer Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) or to high-impact journals. Further details on partner journals will be announced on the conference website.
