The 25th International Conference on Bioinformatics (InCoB/ISCB APAC)
“Where Bioinformatics Meet AI – Unlocking the Next Era of Discovery”
The Organising Committee of InCoB/ISCB APAC 2026 cordially invites researchers, academicians, clinicians, industry professionals, and postgraduate students to submit original research abstracts and full papers for presentation and publication consideration.

Submission Guidelines
All papers and abstracts must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Abstract only (for oral or poster presentation)
- Full paper (for oral/poster presentation and publication in Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) [https://link.springer.com/series/5381]
All publishing fees must be covered by the participant
3. Abstract Submission Guidelines
3.1 Word Limit
- 250–300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, and keywords)
3.2 Abstract Structure
Abstracts must be structured as follows:
- Background
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
3.3 Formatting
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Line spacing: Single
- Alignment: Justified
- Keywords: 3–5 keywords (italicised)
3.4 Language
- Abstracts must be written in English (UK or US, consistently).
4. Full Paper Submission Guidelines

4.1 Word Limit
- 3,000–6,000 words, including tables and figures
- References are excluded from the word count
4.2 Manuscript Structure
Full papers should include:
- Title
- Authors and affiliations
- Abstract and keywords
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements (if any)
- References
4.3 Formatting Requirements
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 2.5 cm (all sides)
- Page numbers: Bottom centre
- Tables and figures: Embedded within text, numbered sequentially
- Referencing style: APA / Vancouver / Journal-specific (to be specified)
4.4 Template
- Authors must use the official InCoB/ISCB APAC 2026 template, downloadable from the conference website.
5. Language Policy
- All submissions must be written in English.
- Authors are responsible for proofreading and language accuracy before submission.
6. Ethical Requirements
All submissions must comply with the following ethical standards:
- Work must be original and unpublished, not under consideration elsewhere.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, and image manipulation are strictly prohibited.
- Studies involving human participants or animals must state approval from relevant ethics committees.
- Authors must declare conflicts of interest and funding sources, where applicable.
- Submissions may be screened using plagiarism-detection software.

8. Presentation and Publication
- Accepted papers will be scheduled for oral or poster presentation.
- Selected full papers will be published in conference proceedings and/or partner journals (subject to additional review).
